Enhance Education Quality Through Digital Transformation

Amidst the rapid advancement of information technology, digitalization in education has become a crucial factor in creating more effective and inclusive learning systems. Unfortunately, many schools in Indonesia, especially in remote areas, still struggle to access adequate technology, including stable internet connections and digital devices.

To address these challenges, SANF has partnered with the Astra Michael D. Ruslim Education Foundation (YPA-MDR) to implement an educational digitalization program. This year, the "SANF Beri Buku, Berbagi Ilmu" ("SANF Gives Books, Shares Knowledge") program successfully donated over 150 non-curricular books, along with internet network installations and projectors, to SMPN 2 PPU, one of YPA-MDR's foster schools. This donation aims to improve access to information and facilitate more interactive learning experiences for students and teachers.

Thersia Sri Nayuti, Head of Human Capital, General Services, and Corporate Affairs at SANF, emphasized that this program is part of the company’s commitment to actively contribute to community empowerment, particularly in education. "This initiative reflects our commitment to realizing sustainable community empowerment, especially in education, which will continue to be part of our regular agenda moving forward by providing adequate educational facilities," said Thersia in a statement on Wednesday (November 13, 2024).

According to Budiman, in this era of information technology, internet connectivity is essential as a means of expanding access to information, enhancing learning effectiveness, and accelerating the distribution of knowledge to all layers of society.

This initiative is a continuation of the "SANF Cerdas" ("Smart SANF") program, which has been running since 2022. Through this program, SANF has donated books and computer units to various educational institutions across Java Island, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), and even to the Blind Foundation in Tangerang.
